Snow Slows Traffic At Snoqualmie Pass

HYAK, Wash. —

Traffic was moving in both directions on Interstate 90 over Snoqualmie Pass Tuesday after a series of collisions closed snow-covered roadway for a time.

Blocking accidents involving semi-trucks in the snow blocked the cross-mountain highway at about 7 a.m.

There were some areas of deep snow and visibility is poor.

It was snowy, slushy and slick, said KIRO 7 Eyewitness News reporter Rick Price, with speeds of about 35 mph.
