Black smoke spewed into the air following the crash until firefighters got the fire under control.

The tanker, carrying diesel fuel, caught fire just east of Sunset Way after an accident involving two other cars.

The crash happened when a pickup truck loaded with pipe clipped the back of the tanker, triggering a chain-reaction crash.

There were no reports of any injuries.
