Truck Goes Over Guardrail On I-5

SEATTLE —

Northbound lanes of Interstate 5 were reopened before noon Wednesday following an accident that appeared to leave a semi-truck dangling from the roadway.

Hanging Truck Pulled To Safety

The truck driver swerved to avoid a rear-end collision, smashed through the median guardrail, rolled half-way down an embankment and ended up with the rear of the truck in the air.

The State Patrol brought in a tow truck with a crane to remove the truck.

There were no injuries. The truck was empty. It was on its way from Sumner to Seattle when the accident occurred around 9 a.m.
