BELLEVUE, Wash. —

One motorcyclist was involved in two crashes in Bellevue overnight while he was riding with two other motorcycles.

Police said three motorcycles were heading westbound on State Route 520 shortly after midnight when one of the bikes crashed.

The injured motorcyclist got onto the back of one of the other bikes, and the two remaining motorcycles continued on.

When the two bikes exited on 84th Avenue, both motorcycles lost control and crashed.

Two of the motorcyclists were transported to the hospital.

The third biker remained at the scene while police conducted a field sobriety test.

All three of the motorcyclists are being investigated for DUI.

Police said excessive speed was a factor in the crashes.
