Train Hits, Kills Woman Near Puyallup
PUYALLUP, Wash. —
A woman died after being struck by an Amtrak train near Puyallup early Thursday morning.
Police and Amtrak are investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision near 26th Street Northwest and Stewart Avenue at about 2 a.m.
Amtrak said there were no passengers on board and other rail service is not being disrupted.
