Truck Crashes Into Covington Convenience Store

COVINGTON, Wash. —

No one was after hurt after a pickup truck crashed into a Covington convenience store, said Captain Kyle Ohashi of the Kent Fire Department.

The woman driving the car apparently pushed the gas pedal instead of the brake as she pulled into a parking spot around 1 p.m. Tuesday, Ohashi said.

Firefighters had to use bracing material to stabilize the front of the Circle K in the 17600 block of SE 272 Street.
