SEATTLE —

For the second night in a row, north precinct Seattle police officers were called to a break-in at a medical marijuana dispensary.

At about 2 a.m. Wednesday officers went to a building on Greenwood Avenue North where the front door was clearly damaged.

For more than an hour, police cars crisscrossed the neighborhood hunting for suspect.

Besides staking out the intersections in their cars, a K-9 officer and his dog were out tracking the scent, and other officers were on foot picking up potential evidence from the sidewalk in front of the business.

The break-in occurred about 24 hours after officers rushed to a different dispensary on Lake City Way, near Northeast 85th Street and 20th Avenue Northeast.

There, an alarm-type strobe was blinking above the front door.

The Greenwood Avenue North dispensary also had an audible alarm system, and police said the burglar ran before they were able to steal anything.  Officers said they do NOT have any suspects in custody for either break-in.
