Two more people were arrested in connection with a series of robberies in the Green Lake area, bringing the total to six suspects, said the Seattle Police Department.
The 18- and 16-year-old suspects were arrested Tuesday in Auburn after a follow up investigation. They were taken in for questioning and have since been booked into King County Jail and the 16-year-old was taken to the Youth Service Center.
Four other suspects, including three men and one woman, remain behind bars in connection with the robberies. Two of them were arrested on Sept. 15 and the other two turned themselves in on Sept. 17.
Mark Jamieson said information on the latest two suspects developed during questioning of two people who were already in custody. He said there may be a family connection among them.
The six suspects are accused of committing at least nine robberies in Seattle's Green Lake, Lake City, Magnolia and Capitol Hill neighborhoods.
Police said all of the people believed to be involved in this series of robberies are now in custody.
Those already in jail are 21-year-old Clovelle Harvey, 20-year-old Michael Alexander, Sheena Blackburn and Jarvis Gibbs.
