SEATTLE —

Three schools in the Highline School District were locked down after someone called 911 to report that a female student may have brought a gun to school.

Deputies used a bomb-sniffing dog to check school lockers for a gun at Evergreen High School and Cascade Middle School.

New Start Alternative was also locked down.

A KIRO 7 Eyewitness News photojournalist at the scene said students at Evergreen High were moved into the gym.

The lockdown was lifted at 11 a.m.
