BREMERTON, Wash. —

A Puget Sound-based aircraft carrier will help keep stability in the region around North and South Korea.

The crew on the Bremerton-based USS Carl Vinson is now on its way to the volatile region.

The aircraft carrier left Puget Sound Last month.

Its crew of 5,000 are now in Guam.

The Vinson is taking over for the USS Kitty Hawk, which is in the Persian Gulf.
