A candle light vigil was held Friday evening for a man who was fatally shot in Roosevelt.

Friends of 42-year-old Yancy Noll paid tribute to him at the site where he was killed.  

Noll was shot and killed a week before Friday as he was sitting in his Subaru on Northeast 75^th Street and 15^th Northeast.

Police said the shooting was a road rage incident.

KIRO 7 Eyewitness News reporter Deborah Horne spoke with a few of Noll’s friends at the event and they shared stories of how Noll was a wine steward, extraordinaire and a man full of life.

“I expressed interest in indoor skydiving for my birthday. He didn’t think about it for one second. It’s like he just wanted to one up me. He pulled out his phone and said, ‘I’d like to make an appointment for a jump,” said friend Jennifer Neal.

Noll’s friends shared with KIRO 7 a Youtube video of Noll skydiving and said it was the love of his life. 

“And I really loved him and I miss him. I know we all do. Such a special guy,” said friend Christal Worthen.

Many of Noll’s friends urged whoever the shooter is, should come forward.

“And it’s really hard to see something like this happen again,” said friend Melanie Ramseth. “I’m really hoping that this time we have some justice for it because it’s just not fair.”

Seattle police released surveillance images of a BMW Z-4 that they believe the shooter was driving. They described the driver as a white or Asian man in his 20s or 30s, with dark, slicked-back hair.

Arrests have not been made.

Police have not released any information about the road rage incident, but there is a $1,000 reward from Crime Stoppers, which has generated many tips.
