Visitor center opens at Gates Foundation

 The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation’s visitor center had its grand opening Saturday and many attended the event.

The foundation is the headquarters for the largest philanthropic organization in the world.

Exhibits at the new addition are designed to let the public have a hands-on idea of how the foundation helps partner with others.

“It’s also very good because you feel as an individual, maybe you could do something,” said visitor Betty Kindem. “I think that’s what I find exciting.

In one of the exhibits, the innovation and inspiration room allows people to post ideas and suggestions.
