Washington Added To National Sex Offender Registry



WASHINGTON —

The Justice Department says Washington has been added to the National Sex Offender Public Registry.

That makes 38 states on the site where people can check on sex offenders living in their neighborhood.

There are more than 500,000 registered sex offenders nation wide.

The Web site is www.nsopr.gov.
