BELLEVUE, Wash. —

There is some confusion over what's next for a controversial coffee stand in Bellevue -- the signs may be coming down, but the bikinis may or may not stay.

Knotty Bodies only opened last Saturday and has already been the discussion at a City Council meeting on Monday, was served with a code violation on Tuesday and may be changing its name by the end of Wednesday.

There has been questions over the bikinis and if they will stay or go. The owner of the gas station, which owns the property where Knotty Bodies operates, said the bikinis will go away, but an attorney in the case said the bikinis will stay.

Both the owner of the gas station and the attorney said the stand’s signs will be covered up by Wednesday night because the Chevron Company has concerns about the logo on the signs.

The drive-through lane of the coffee stand was coned off Tuesday after the city of Bellevue said it violated zoning laws.

One barista said they’re being singled out.

"I think it's upsetting cause there was another coffee stand before us that had a drive-through. I think the only reason they have gone this far is because we are the kind of stand we are," Kat said.

Despite the drive-through lane being closed, KIRO 7 crews who have been covering the story said customers are still lining up.

About 125 people turned out to complain about the stand at Monday's city council meeting-- because it's next door to a children's playground.
