Winter Storm Warning In Effect For Northern And Central Cascades

SEATTLE —

A winter storm warning was in effect Friday night

for the western slopes of the northern and central Cascades in

Washington state.

The National Weather Service says the warning is

in effect until 6pm Saturday night . The snow level is expected to drop to

around 35-hundred feet Saturday overnight

Snow accumulations of up to 8

inches are expected by Saturday evening.
