Woman Arrested in Kirkland Parking Garage Stabbing

SEATTLE —

Kirkland Police tell KIRO 7 Eyewitness News Friday night that a woman has been arrested for a stabbing earlier Friday.

A 28-year-old woman was stabbed multiple times Friday morning in a Kirkland parking garage.

The victim was able to call 911 around 10:40 a.m. and police arrived at the scene at 11250 Kirkland Way to find her still conscious.

She was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle and is listed in critical condition.

The circumstances of the assault are still under investigation and detectives are processing the scene for additional information.

Sergeant Rob Saloum tells KIRO 7 that the suspect turned herself in after going to a local hospital for treatment.

She apparently received injuries from the altercation.

Saloum says the 50 year old suspect is an acquaintance of the victim.
