KIRKLAND, Wash. —
A woman and a toddler were struck and pinned under a car in a Kirkland crosswalk on Northeast 112th Street , said Sgt. Rob Saloum of the Kirkland Police Department.
Another woman was driving the car that hit the two victims. At some point, the child was pinned underneath the car, Saloum said.
The woman and grandchild who were hit, and the woman driving the car were all taken to the hospital.
Bystanders at the scene were able to remove the child and all three were transported to the hospital, Saloum said.
No information has been released on their conditions but we do know the baby was crying and the women were conscious.
