TACOMA, Wash. —

A woman and her children say they have no place to stay after a fire inside a home in the 5100 block of South Oakes Street in Tacoma Tuesday.

Victoria Smith told KIRO7 she had just gotten out of the shower and was headed to work when a fire broke out in the home's second floor.

"They keep saying it's something electrical, or a heater", Smith said. "Right before Thanksgiving".

Smith's two children were huddled in a car keeping warm as firefighters doused the flames.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
