A 34-year-old woman was getting in her car after shopping at Gymboree around 7 p.m. when she says the man shoved her into the vehicle and told her he was going to kill her.

"He said 'Scoot over, scoot over, I'm going to kill you,'" she told KIRO 7 Eyewitness News Reporter Amy Clancy. "He meant it. I could end up dead."

She tells KIRO 7 Eyewitness News she felt what she thought was a gun in her back.

She screamed and pushed away from him, and the man ran away.

A Kitsap County Sheriff's Department dog picked up a possible scent but later lost it.

The woman says she parked only steps from the store, thinking it was safe spot because it was so close to the busy mall.
