KING COUNTY, Wash. —

A woman suffered non-life threatening injuries after a crash following a pursuit with King County deputies, police said.

Police said the woman called the Washington State Patrol early Tuesday and said she was being followed by someone with flashing lights on Preston-Fall City Road Southeast.

The flashing lights were from a deputy’s patrol car as he tried to pull her over for reckless driving and speeding, deputies said.

The woman crashed into a fence in the 8200 block during the pursuit.

Officers said they don’t believe alcohol was a factor in the crash.
