Woman Sought In Fast Food Restaurant Robberies

 

PIERCE COUNTY, Wash. —

Detectives are looking for a woman suspected of robbing three Pierce County fast food restaurants and attempting to rob another Wednesday.

Police said the woman was armed with a gun and went on a robbery spree at the following four businesses:

- At 5:41 p.m., Kolby’s Donut House, 15012 Pacific Ave. S., Spanaway - At 5:50 p.m., Dairy Queen, 17909 Pacific Ave. S., Spanaway - At 6:48 p.m., Wendy’s, 4113 S. Meridian, Puyallup - 7:05 p.m., Taco Time, 10507 S. Tacoma Way, Lakewood

In the first robbery, the woman walked into the donut shop, displayed a gun and demanded cash, police said. The clerk refused and the woman fled on foot.

In the next three robberies, the woman drove to the drive-thru, ordered food and when she got to the window she displayed a gun and demanded cash, police said.

The woman is described as white, in her 20s, about 5 feet 5 inches tall, slender build with dark-blonde hair. During the robbery she was seen wearing a dark-hooded sweatshirt, light-blue pants, and large dark sunglasses.

She was seen driving a yellow SUV with gray plastic trim on the bottom, likely a Pontiac Aztek or Nissan Xterra.

Detectives from the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department, Puyallup police and Lakewood police are investigating the case.

Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and charges filed for the person in this case.
