Worker Injured Clearing Storm Debris



TACOMA, Wash. —

A Tacoma Public Utilities journeyman tree trimmer was injured Sunday night while performing storm-related clearing work.

According to Alice Phillips with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Union #483, Berry Kensrud was injured and transported to Tacoma General Hospital Sunday.

Kensrud, an experienced, long-term TPU employee is in critical condition.

The accident is under investigation.
