ROCHESTER, Wash. —

Two men were shocked, and one was injured, when they came into contact with a live line while working in bucket truck in the Rochester area Wednesday afternoon, the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office said.

The men were using a boom truck to move a well pipe when some part of it came into contact with the power lines, the West Thurston Fire Authority said. One of the men was OK, but the other was knocked unconscious.

Medics performed CPR on the injured man, who is believed to be in his 30s, and he was alert and talking when he was transported to St. Peters Hospital. He had entrance and exit wounds on his left and right legs from the electrical charge, the fire authority said.

Firefighters said he was very confused when rescuers first arrived.

The man's condition is not known. It's also unknown who the men are emploeyd by.
