Workers Burned In High-Voltage Accident

ARLINGTON, Wash. —

Six workers were injured Thursday afternoon when a Bonneville Power boom truck made contact with a 230,000 high-voltage transmission line near Arlington.

A momentary shortage resulted from the connection injuring the five workers.

Four of the injured suffered major burns. Two were initially airlifted to Seattle's Harborview Medical Center, and two others were later transferred to Harborview after initially being treated at a local hospital.
