Wrong-Way Driver Sought In I-5 Collision

MARYSVILLE, Wash. —

Troopers are looking for the driver of a car that was going the wrong way when it caused a collision on Interstate 5 in Marysville on Wednesday.

The driver of a brown Honda Accord made a U-turn on the freeway near the 88th Street overpass, causing another car to crash into the cable barrier, troopers said.

The driver was described as a woman with long blond hair.

Witnesses said they saw her get off the freeway on the 88th Street exit.

A 47-year-old man in the car that hit the cable barrier was not hurt.
