SEATTLE —
The King County Council could vote next week on whether to invest as much as $80 million on the proposed SoDo sports arena.
Budget chair Joe McDermott pushed for a council vote Monday, saying that after nine meetings on the matter, it’s time for the full council to take up the issue, The Seattle Times Reported.
McDermott said if he waited until his next committee meeting, the full council might not get the proposal until Labor Day.
