SEATTLE —
Oklahoma City Thunder fans, apparently fed up with Sonics fans showing up to Thunder games, have taken to passing around an open letter of sorts ahead of the team's debut in the NBA Finals on Tuesday.
Seattlepi.com has a screen grab of the letter taken from Facebook. It reads, in part:
"[S]top calling them 'your' team. Hasn't been in years and won't be again FOREVER. We didn't 'steal' your team, we brought 'our' team here for a better future. ...And we're doing something with OUR team that YOUR team hadn't done since 1979, and that's becoming CHAMPIONS!"
