How Will The Hawks Perform Without The Noise? Posted: January 31, 2006 Question: Do you think the absence of deafening nose when the Seahawks' defense is on the field will help John Marshall, Ray Rhodes and Lofa Tatupu get theirs plays called more efficiently?

Answer: For the Seahawk defense, the 12th man and all the noise has been a plus this season. They signal in their defensive calls from the sidelines with little or no problems. The noise at times can make it difficult for the players on the field to communicate, but it's a great problem to have because it affects the offense much more than the defense.

Are The Hawks Safe At The Super Bowl? Posted: January 31, 2006 Question: Do our Seahawks have plenty of security before and after the Super Bowl?

Answer: The name of the game at the Super Bowl is security. Even during the regular season, the Seahawks travel with a security contingent. For the Super Bowl, the league handles security and they are prepared for anything and the team, coaches, staff and families are secure and well cared-for at the Super Bowl site.

Could We Lose The '12th Man'? Posted: January 31, 2006 Question: How do you feel about the "12th man" issue? Do you really believe we will lose our right to be the "12th man" on the field even though there is a small difference between their "12th man" and ours?

Answer: I, like most other Seahawks fans, have a tough time believing that Texas A&M doesn't have something better to do than get a cease-and-desist order for the Seahawks' using the "12th man". I understand that they've been using that term for decades but it stands for something different for the Aggies. I agree with the fans: keep your hands off our "12th man".

What If Matt Goes Down? Posted: January 31, 2006 Question: I am concerned if Matt should happen to go down, is Wallace capable of taking over efficiently, or do we have a secret weapon?

Answer: Nobody wants anything to happen to Matt Hasselbeck. He may be the best quarterback in the league right now. But should he get injured, the Seahawks coaches and players have all the confidence in the world in Seneca Wallace. He's a great athlete, with terrific speed and he's a breakaway running threat. He also has a fine arm and can run the West Coast Offense efficiently. If he needed to play, he would be ready.
