Answer: Two... The Raiders Jack Tatum knocked me out in Oakland back in 1978.. And I was hit, flew off the field and into the sideline marker, and collapsed my lung. I'm glad I now get paid to TALK about football.

Franchise vs. Team Posted: Sept. 26, 2006 Question: You, and everyone else in pro sports, always talks about the "franchise" and not the "team". Franchise record...franchise attendance... franchise everything. Why isn't the term "team" used much anymore? -Harry
Answer: Harry, that's a very good question. I have no idea. I'll try to remember to use "team" more.
