A high wind warning was in effect Wednesday morning near Enumclaw, where winds of 40 miles an hour were reported, with gusts of 60 to 70 miles an hour.

Trees were reported down along Highway 169 in Enumclaw and on eastbound Highway 18 at Tiger Mountain summit.

Trees were also blown down in Seattle's Seward Park and crews were working to repair downed power lines there.

Three-foot swells pounded a dock at a nearby marina.

"I could see the whitecaps and I said 'It doesn't look good,'" said Mike Johnson. "I came out here and there were a few gusts that didn't knock me off my feet but pushed me back."

The boats at the marina were tossed about like toys, and the waves were too much for some docks, which collapsed in the water.

The marina was still trying to recover from a similar high windstorm that struck in December, causing $175,000 in damage.
