Edmonds School District Considering Closing 2 Schools

EDMONDS, Wash. -- Higher food and gas prices are pinching the budget of the Edmonds School District, which is considering closing two schools next fall.

Parents and other community members will debate closing Woodway Elementary and Evergreen Elementary.

A public hearing will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday at district headquarters, 20420 68th Ave. W. in Lynnwood.
