Rebecca Stevenson

Rebecca Stevenson is Chief Meteorologist for KIRO 7 Eyewitness News.

Rebecca holds seals of approval from both the American Meteorological Society (AMS) and the National Weather Association.

In the time she's been forecasting here in the Pacific Northwest, she's been through some of our most extreme weather patterns in decades. She's seen the heavy snow events of 1996, the ice storms of 2004, the tsunami warning off the Washington coast in 2005 and the severe windstorms of 2006. And she has developed a keen understanding of how seemingly minor shifts in our weather can dramatically turn life upside down.
