Description: A great place for an off-the-beaten-path gourmet pizza, this two-story, 100-year-old redbrick building offers spacious dining in a comfortable, spotless setting. Hardwood polished floors, large booths, comfortable tables and high ceilings give this space a feeling of being concurrently practical and enjoyable.

Don't let the casual environment fool you, though. Big Time Pizza serves from a full menu: Starters, salads, sandwiches, pizza (full and by-the-slice), pastas, calzones and desserts.

Portions are gigantic, and ordering both salad and pizza should come with "Might not be able to move afterwards" warning. Though the classics are very very good, the "unusuals" are what I venture forth for here. Specifically the spicy hot Thai Peanut and the Pacific Rim (lemon-garlic butter as the sauce, with prawns, sun-dried tomatoes, basil, Mozzarella and Fontina cheese).
