Simply the best road-race of the year, the Torchlight Run offers an 8K (4.97 miles), 5K (3.1 miles) run/walk, costume contest, post-race celebration and is the only local race televised on KIRO-TV and staged in front of 300,000 spectators.

Torchlight Run Course…fast, flat and scenic!
Starting and finishing near Qwest Field, runners travel up the Alaskan Way Viaduct taking in spectacular summer views of Elliot Bay and the Olympic Mountains. The course continues through the Battery Street tunnel before looping around to join the parade route on Fourth Avenue and a downhill dash to the thunderous cheers of Southwest Airlines Torchlight Parade spectators.
