Seahawks QB Hasselbeck Leaves Game With Apparent Knee Injury

Seattle, WA (Sports Network) - Seattle Seahawks quarterback Matt Hasselbeck left the team's game against Minnesota with an apparent knee injury.

Hasselbeck was injured on the Seahawks opening possession of the third quarter. Vikings linebacker E.J. Henderson rolled into Hasselbeck's right knee on a third down pass play.

Hasselbeck crumbled to the ground in obvious pain but did manage to limp off the field. Early reports indicated the quarterback suffered a knee sprain and he did not return.

Chester Taylor ran for a career-high 169 yards and stunned the Seattle crowd with an electrifying 95-yard touchdown run as the Vikings upset the Seahawks, 31-13.

The game was deadlocked at 10 when Hasselbeck exited after completing 7-of-17 passes for 127 yards and a touchdown. His replacement, Seneca Wallace, finished 14-of-25 for 134 yards with two interceptions.
