San Francisco, CA -- (Sports Network) - Ryan Klesko drove in two runs and Randy Winn made a great catch to save a potential game-tying home run in the ninth inning, as the San Francisco Giants edged the Toronto Blue Jays, 3-2, in the middle contest of a three-game interleague series.

Dave Roberts posted two hits and scored twice for the Giants, who have won two straight on the heels of a three-game sweep at the hands of cross-town rival Oakland over the weekend. Ray Durham notched an RBI in the win.

Noah Lowry allowed two runs on four hits over six solid innings and earned the win. Lowry (6-5) struck out five and walked four.

Toronto starting pitcher A.J. Burnett (5-6) surrendered three runs -- two earned -- on six hits, but left the game with two outs in the fifth inning due to a right shoulder strain.

"(The trainers) don't think the injury is any big deal," said Toronto John Gibbons of the Burnett injury. "It's a mild strain. You're always concerned when a pitcher feels something and has to come out. He'll get checked tomorrow."

Alex Rios belted a two-run homer for the Blue Jays, who have lost five of their last seven games overall.

With the Giants leading 3-2 in the top of the ninth, Brad Hennessey took the mound to close out the game. He fanned leadoff batter Troy Glaus and Aaron Hill sent a rocket toward the left-center field seats, but Winn snared the ball just as it was headed over the fence to preserve the lead.

"I knew I got it up a little too high," said Hill. "(Winn) just made a great play."

Curtis Thigpen then singled with two outs and moved to second on a wild pitch before Hennessey notched his third save when Sal Fasano struck out.

Giants slugger Barry Bonds finished 2-for-2 with two walks and did not hit a home run. Bonds, who homered Monday night, has 747 for his career, eight shy of Hank Aaron's all-time record.

Klesko's groundout plated Roberts in the home first before Rios gave the Blue Jays a 2-1 lead in the third. Royce Clayton stroked a two-out single and scored on Rios' 15th homer of the season.

San Francisco grabbed the lead right back in the bottom of the frame. Roberts led off with a double and scored on a single by Klesko. After a Bonds double, Roberts crossed the plate on a Durham grounder.

The injury to Burnett appeared to have occurred in the top of the fifth during his at-bat when he squared around to bunt. The pitch was inside, and Burnett, who doesn't usually see at-bats but must in this interleague series, jumped to avoid it and stood up a bit gingerly.

Lowry pitched his way out of the fifth when he forced Rios to ground out with Clayton on second and followed with a scoreless sixth.

Jack Taschner and Kevin Correia both tossed perfect half-innings in the seventh and eighth, respectively, before Hennessey survived the ninth.
