Suns Close Out Trip At Milwaukee

(Sports Network) - The Phoenix Suns will try to get back on track this evening, when they wrap up a four-game road trip against the Milwaukee Bucks at the Bradley Center.

Phoenix had a three-game winning streak come to an end and fell to 2-1 on the trek following Friday's 100-83 loss to the Chicago Bulls at the United Center. Amare Stoudemire scored 26 points and grabbed seven rebounds for the Suns, who played without center Shaquille O'Neal (rest) and fell to 4-2 on the season.

Rookie center Robin Lopez had 14 points and seven rebounds while Steve Nash had six points and five assists in 24 minutes for the Suns. O'Neal is expected to be back in the lineup tonight.

Milwaukee is also trying to get back into the win column after having its two- game winning streak halted with Friday's 101-89 loss to the defending champion Boston Celtics at TD Banknorth Garden.

Richard Jefferson led the way with 20 points and Charlie Villanueva added 13 points and 12 rebounds for Milwaukee, which played without star guard Michael Redd, who suffered a sprained ankle in Sunday's game against the Knicks. Redd also did not play in Wednesday's win over Washington and is expected to miss tonight's tilt versus the high-scoring Suns.

Phoenix won both meetings with Milwaukee last year and has won four straight, eight of nine and 30 of the last 34 encounters.

The Suns also have won two in a row at the Bradley Center.
