Posted: 1:41 pm PDT July 8, 2009

(Sports Network) - The San Antonio Spurs signed swingman Malik Hairston and forward Marcus Haislip on Wednesday.

Terms of the deals were not disclosed.

Originally drafted by the Bucks with the 13th pick in the 2002 draft, Haislip played two seasons with Milwaukee before going to Indiana for the 2004-2005 season. He spent the past two seasons playing in Spain and owns averages of 3.6 points and 1.5 assists in 79 games over his three seasons in the NBA.

The 6-foot-6 Hairston was selected by Phoenix with the 48th overall pick of the 2008 NBA Draft. He was acquired by the Spurs in exchange for the draft rights to Goran Dragic.

The former Oregon star was in training camp with the Spurs in 2008 before being waived on October 26. He has spent this season splitting time between the Spurs and Austin of the NBA Developmental League. Hairston averaged 3.3 points and 1.9 rebounds in 15 games with San Antonio last season.
