Chicago Bulls (1-1) At Miami Heat (2-0), 6 P.M.
(Sports Network) - The Miami Heat will try to keep their unbeaten mark going this evening, when they return home to host the Chicago Bulls at AmericanAirlines Arena. The Heat are 2-0 to start the season for the first time since winning their first four games of the 2004-05 campaign, one season prior to winning the initial NBA title in franchise history. Miami is coming off Friday's historic 96-83 triumph at Indiana, as All-Star Dwyane Wade netted 32 points and Jermaine O'Neal contributed 22 points and 12 rebounds in a winning effort. Udonis Haslem had 10 points and 10 boards off the bench for the Heat, who had dropped 14 in a row at Indiana and last won as the visitor against the Pacers on December 31, 2001. Miami also beat the New York Knicks in its season opener on Wednesday. "Their style is to get you to do things you don't normally do," Wade said of the Pacers. "To get you to speed up, to get you to go fast. Once you get into that game, they can beat you there, especially at home. So we tried to control the pace a little bit, get into our offense, get into our sets, and use our strengths." Miami will also host Phoenix on the brief residency. Chicago, meanwhile, hopes to rebound from its first loss of the 2009-10 campaign, a 118-90 setback at Boston on Friday. Joakim Noah had 16 points and 10 rebounds for the Bulls, who were coming off a 92-85 home win over the San Antonio Spurs. Derrick Rose was limited to 10 points, while Jannero Pargo scored 13 in a rematch of last season's tough playoff series won by Boston in seven games. "It took a long tome for us to get in a groove," said Rose. "I'm still trying to find my groove out there. It's going to take playing time and we didn't get in a good groove tonight." Miami went 3-1 against the Bulls in 2008-09 and had its four-game winning streak in the series halted with a 106-87 setback on March 26. Chicago has lost three straight, four of five and 15 of its last 18 at Miami.
