Memphis Grizzlies (1-1) At Denver Nuggets (2-0), 8 P.M.

(Sports Network) - Current NBA leading scorer Carmelo Anthony will lead the Denver Nuggets versus the Memphis Grizzlies tonight at the Pepsi Center.

Anthony is averaging 35.5 points per game in two contests for the unbeaten and Northwest Division-leading Nuggets, who improved to 2-0 with a 97-94 triumph at Portland the last time out on Thursday. Anthony registered 19 of his 41 points in the fourth quarter and Chauncey Billups ended with 22 points and six assists for Denver, which pulled out a tough win over Utah in its season opener on Wednesday.

"These first two games, they weren't just important, they were battles," Anthony said. "They were two fights, and divisions games, that makes it more important."

After hosting Memphis on Sunday, the Nuggets will hit the road for six games against Indiana, New Jersey, Miami, Atlanta, Chicago and Milwaukee.

Meanwhile, the Grizzlies will kick off a five-game road trip Sunday after splitting their first two games of the season at home.

In Friday's 115-107 victory versus the Toronto Raptors, Zach Randolph finished with 30 points and seven rebounds, while Marc Gasol added 19 points and seven boards for the Grizzlies, who dropped their season-opener 96-74 to Detroit on Wednesday.

Rudy Gay contributed 17 points and nine rebounds, and Mike Conley chipped in 10 points, 10 assists and six boards in the win.

"We've got a lot of guys that can score now and just moving the ball and making extra passes," said Conley. "Everybody gets their shots up and we end up winning games like tonight."

The Grizz will also visit the Kings, Warriors, Lakers and Clippers on the road swing. New Memphis guard Allen Iverson is still nursing a hamstring injury and could return during this upcoming trek.

Denver went 3-0 against Memphis a season ago and has won seven straight and 28 of the past 36 matchups between the teams. The Grizzlies have lost four straight and 23 of 25 trips to the Pepsi Center.
