(Sports Network) - The Charlotte Bobcats hope to put an end to their four-game losing streak when they hit the road for three games starting with Monday's bout against the Southeast Division-rival Orlando Magic at Amway Arena.

The Bobcats will also visit Philadelphia and Milwaukee on the swing and are 0-4 away from home this season. They dropped their fourth straight contest on Saturday, when the Portland Trail Blazers entered Time Warner Cable Arena and left with an 80-74 triumph.

Boris Diaw paced Charlotte with 21 points, six rebounds and four assists, while Gerald Wallace added 12 points and eight boards for the Bobcats, whose impressive 3-2 start to the new campaign is old news. Raja Bell had 11 points in defeat.

"I thought we played hard as hell," Bobcats Hall of Fame coach Larry Brown said. "We just can't make shots. Too much of a hill to climb when you're not making shots."

Orlando will continue a four-game homestand Monday and improved to 1-1 on the residency with Friday's 88-72 victory versus the lowly New Jersey Nets. Dwight Howard finished with 26 points, 12 rebounds and five blocks for the defending Eastern Conference champion Magic, who bounced back after a loss to LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers in the opener of the homestand.

Former Net Vince Carter notched 10 of his 14 points in the fourth quarter, while Jason Williams came off the bench to score all nine of his points in final stanza to help Orlando pull away. Matt Barnes ended with 13 points, 13 rebounds and five assists in a winning cause.

"We picked it up defensively [in the second half]," said Magic guard Jameer Nelson, who had 10 points, five boards and four assists. "We got some stops and rebounds and were able to get out and run."

The Magic are 4-1 at home this season and will also face the Oklahoma City Thunder on the residency. They defeated Charlotte, 93-81, on November 10 this season on the road and have won five straight in the series.

Charlotte is winless in its last eight trips to Amway Arena.
