Blazers' Outlaw Has Foot Surgery

Portland, OR -- (Sports Network) - Portland Trail Blazers forward Travis Outlaw had successful surgery on Wednesday to repair a stress fracture of the fifth metatarsal bone in his left foot.The surgery was performed by Dr. Jay Crary at the Southwest Washington Regional Surgery Center in Vancouver, Washington. He is expected to miss the next three to five months. Outlaw suffered the injury in the first quarter of Saturday's 80-74 win over Charlotte. On the season, Outlaw has averaged 9.9 points and 3.5 rebounds in 21.0 minutes per game.
