NCAA Game Summary - Montana State At Eastern Washington

Cheney, WA -- Marc Axton poured in a game-high 19 points in
leading the Eastern Washington Eagles to a 70-55 victory over the Montana
State Bobcats in Big Sky Conference play from Reese Court. Alvin Snow finished with 18 points and four assists for the Eagles (5-10, 1-1
Big Sky), while Josh Barnard added 11 points. The Bobcats (9-6, 1-1) had three players finish with 10 points each, including
Danny Faaborg, Jason Erickson and Matt Towsley. Eastern Washington converted 50 percent of its three-point attempts in the
first half, as it held a 31-26 advantage heading into the locker rooms. The Eagles shot 48.3 percent from the field in the second stanza, allowing
them to cruise to the 15-point win. Montana State converted only 2-of-18 three-point attempts and turned the ball
over 22 times, while Eastern Washington made 13-of-18 attempts from the
charity stripe.
