Chris Legeros joined KIRO 7 Eyewitness News as a reporter in February of 1983.
A native of Minneapolis, Chris worked as an anchor and general assignment reporter for KCMT-TV in Alexandria Minnesota from 1975 to 1977 and at KGAN-TV in Cedar Rapids, Iowa from 1977 to 1983.
Chris attended high school in Edina, Minnesota and was awarded his Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism at the University of Minnesota in 1974. He was awarded his Certificate in Public Relations in 1993 from the University of Washington Extension program.
Chris has received three Emmy awards, along with awards from the Society of Professional Journalists, Associated Press, United Press International, Best of the West and the Washington Education Association.
Chris is a member of St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church. He resides in Lake Forest Park with his wife and two daughters.
