David Ham

David Ham joined KIRO-TV as a general assignment reporter in October of 2012.

Before coming to the Pacific Northwest, David reported for WVEC, the ABC affiliate in Norfolk, Virginia, where his investigative reports found guard rails on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge tunnel were never crash tested, and found local firefighters didn't have the proper equipment to handle a disaster at a gas tank farm. While in Norfolk, David was also recognized by the Virginia Association of Broadcasters in the category of Outstanding News Series for his story on expired groceries found in national chain stores.

He also worked as a reporter for WFTV, the ABC affiliate in Orlando, Florida, and WGGB, the ABC affiliate in Springfield, Massachusetts.

David graduated from Boston University's College of Communication with a B.S. in Broadcast Journalism. While studying at BU, he worked in the newsrooms of WLKY-TV in Louisville, Kentucky; WJLA-TV in Washington, D.C.; ABC News in Seoul, South Korea; and NBC News in London, England.
