Lee Stoll

Lee Stoll is the North Sound reporter for KIRO 7 Eyewitness News. She Joined KIRO 7 in January of 2010.

Lee is thrilled to be back in the Pacific Northwest. As a Navy kid, she grew up all over the world. Her family was stationed in Bremerton in the early 80’s and fell in love with the area. They moved back when her dad took command of the USS Georgia Trident submarine at Bangor in 1993. She later graduated from Central Kitsap High School. Her parents now live near Seattle.

Lee moved to Chicago and attended Northwestern University, graduating with a double major in journalism and art history. She started her career at FOX Sports Chicago producing segments on athletes and working on pre-and post game shows for the Bulls, Blackhawks, Cubs and White Sox. But the Mariners will always be her favorite team!

She left the Midwest in 2001 for a reporter/anchor position with NBC in Kalispell, Montana. While she was there, she was nominated for Broadcaster of the Year and won several SPJ awards. Lee then took a reporter job with KREM-TV in Spokane in 2005.

Lee lives in Snohomish County with her very fat cat, Scout. She loves beating her dad at cribbage, playing the cello, sailing, hiking, skiing and doing anything else that gets her outdoors.
