Stacy Sakamoto

Stacy Sakamoto is a part-time News Reporter for KIRO. She joined the Channel 7 news team in April of 1989. A native of Lihue, Hawaii, Stacy worked for KHVH Newsradio in Honolulu from 1983 to 1985. She next worked for the Honolulu PBS station, KHET in 1985, and finally the CBS station, KGMB-TV from 1985 to 1989 before coming to work at KIRO.

Stacy attended high school at Kauai High and Intermediate and earned her Bachelors Degree in Journalism at the University of Hawaii. Stacy resides in Seattle with her husband and their daughter and son.
