David Quinlan

Consumer Reporter

David Quinlan serves as a consumer reporter for KIRO Television. David joined KIRO 7 from KXAS-TV in Dallas. He began work at the station January, 2008.

David worked as a general assignment reporter in Dallas, covering several local and national news stories including the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina and the Tarrant County Tornadoes.

Before working in Dallas, David worked at KOAT-TV in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was the station’s crime reporter. David also worked as a weekend anchor at KETK-TV in Tyler, Texas and as a general assignment reporter for KXII-TV in Sherman Texas.

He has won numerous awards for his writing and reporting including Best News Reporter in New Mexico. David has also been recognized for his excellence by the Associated Press.

Born and raised in San Francisco, California David says he’s relieved to be back on the west coast. A graduate of Texas Christian University, David has spent the last 13-years in the Southwest and Midwest.

David’s parents live in San Francisco and his older brother resides in San Diego.
