SEATTLE— The fall edition of KIRO InColor airs Sunday, October 5, 2008 at 5:30 on Channel 7. KIRO 7 Eyewitness News reporters Essex Porter, Chris Legeros, Kyle Moore and Deborah Horne tell the wide variety of stories ranging from politics to movie-making.

Porter, KIRO senior political reporter, introduces two first time convention delegates who share their very different feelings about the historic November election.

Legeros tells the story of new campaign to highlight the dangers of sudden heart attacks for women and people of color.

Moore talks to two local athletes who realized their Olympic dreams in ways they never imagined.

Horne profiles two filmmakers, one, a Vietnamese-American just beginning to make his mark, the other, an Egyptian, at the end of a prolific, groundbreaking career.

There's also the story of an El Salvador-born teenager who found his calling -- and his future career -- in a computer class for underserved youngsters. And we catch up with an acclaimed opera singer who returned to Seattle for the first time since moving to New England.

The show, hosted by reporter Deborah Horne, is coming from the unprecedented exhibit at the Pacific Science Center, "Lucy's Legacy: The Hidden Treasures of Ethiopia." You'll be treated to a tour of the brand new exhibit.
