Amy Clancy E-mail Amy

Amy Clancy is Consumer Investigator/Investigative Reporter for KIRO 7 Eyewitness News. She joined KIRO 7 in March of 1988.

Amy started as an intern and became an assistant producer, associate producer and then the producer for KIRO News at Noon. She also produced a nightly half-hour show entitled "7:30" and was a reporter for "Hour Northwest" during the first few months of the show. Later, she worked as producer/reporter for "Nerissa at Nine," and was the entertainment reporter for 7-Live. Amy left KIRO after 5 1/2 years and moved to Philadelphia, but returned to Seattle, and KIRO, after less than a year

Amy attended Lakes High School in Lakewood, Wash., and earned her B.A. in English Literature and Creative Writing at the University of Washington in 1988.

A native of Lakewood, Amy resides in Seattle with her husband. In her spare time, Amy enjoys running, skiing, golfing, going to the movies and reading when she gets the chance.
